Hello EveryONE!

We have an apache server that uses ldap athentication. Can we somehow install jira/tomcat such that apache does the authenticatioin and then proxys back the jira requests?

Dhanks a Bunch!

Alternatively, this might help: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-20205 Scrub that. And I can't delete this answer on iOS ;-(

You likely could with some custom coding, but why not simply enable the same LDAP as a user directory in JIRA instead. It's documentated and (even better) supported.
