Can you assign queues to certain agents

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Setting up queues for your team

Can you assign queues to a team of agents and then notify the team when a ticket is assign to the queue?

There is no way to assign a queue to a team but you can work on notifications. You can create a filter for the same query used in the queue and then subscribe that filter to your team (group or project role). Would that work?
