Can you archive "versions" of a project in Jira Premium?

James Arthur October 8, 2024

We are transitioning from Jira Standard to Jira Premium. As we prepare for this move, archiving has become a significant topic due to auditing and retention requirements. I have been asked whether we can archive different versions of a project. By “versions,” I mean creating a dated snapshot of a project every three months or at other intervals for reference as the project progresses. I have searched for information on versioning projects during archiving but have not found any answers on this topic.

Thank you,

Jim

Hi @James Arthur

No this is not a function in Jira.

You can look at the suggestion @Carlos Garcia Navarro made, if that suites your needs.
