Can you add other words to the reserved words list in JIRA?

In the System Info page we see the jira.projectkey.reservedwords.list which lists out the words that can't be used as project keys: PRN, AUX, CLOCK$, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, CON, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, LPT9.

We would like to add a word or word to that list.  Is there a way to do this?

This is probably coming from a configuration of your JIRA. While you can use that, JIRA (tested on 6.4.3) does not have such list. Check if you don't have them in the file on your JIRA-HOME.

We are at 6.3.15. Is there any way we can block certain words from becoming project keys systematically?
