"for me today" does not define how you an issue is for this day.
Assuming you have a date somewhere on the issue, then filter for "date = now() and assignee = currentuser()"
A calendar view is useless though, as it's always going to show "today". If what you really need is a calendar showing issues on different dates, use the Jira Calendar plugin to display a gadget showing "assignee = currentuser()" and set the parameters to whatever date field you are using.
