Can we move from OnDemand to Download version easily?

We are needing to start up JIRA and Greenhopper but will not have the needed servers until a later date. If we purchase OnDemand will we be able to transfer data to a downloaded version at a later time?

You will be installing the plugin in the downloaded version and all configurations will be extracted with the backup.
