Can we manage jira license on 2 seperate instances?

Hello Everyone, 

 

We have 2 teams in our organisation, Business and IT.

 

We had 100 user's license in IT department and it is full. More users cannot be added now. However, in our Business department, we still have 50 unused users. Can we make of the remaining 50 user's license from our Business Department to IT?

Hi @Kazim Baig,

No, that's not the way it works. Server licenses have predefined user tiers per product and are tied to the instance they are associated with. They are not transferrable to another instance.
