Can we link a status to a task so that the status automatically changes once the task is marked complete?

Status Macro is manual - And it's not related to the status of a JIRA issue.  You should add the JIRA link to the Confluence page, and then it will show the status of the task.

Can we link a Status Macro in Confluence page to a task assigned to someone on the same Confluence page or a different Confluence page?
