Hello. I have a jira website, but liked to jira & jira service management (cloud) and I have no idea what's the difference between those two.
I have installed jira mobile in my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. I got this message after typing my site:
It's looking a bit cloudy
your team is using jira cloud. you'll need to install a different app to access your site
then it gives me a link to other app in the google play store, called "jira cloud by Atlassian"
Sadly, my device isn't compatible with this version, so the install button is nowhere to be found. How can I use jira in my phone? or how do i change my product, not to be cloud?
HI @Dovi
So simply said the Jira app for Cloud doesn't support you android version anymore. So you will need to update your phone android version.
If you can't, you only option is a newer model phone.
App developers do also depreciate the usage of their products on old operating systems
Jira can be installed on-prem, but then you have no app possibilities, as there are no apps for on-prem installations anymore
aw so sad..
thank you for the answer tho
Not seeing myself buying a new phone in the near future, it's still running fast and well :)
