Can't upgrade 6.3 to JIRA Software 7.0: License error

addteq-roberto May 3, 2017

Hi, I've been trying to upgrade a 6.3.3 to JIRA Software 7.0. After the installation of 7.0 completes and the server starts, i see a link that says "Your license is too old, update your license", i follow the link, i update with the correct valid license i have, then it says "Restart your server to complete upgrade",  but after the restart, JIRA is locked and the error in the logs is:  The current license is too old to install this version of JIRA 7.0: Jira Service Desk.  Makes no sense since i'm not trying to install service desk at all, and the old instance did not have it either. I also see the correct license in the h2 database, so can't figure out what's going on, any help?
