Can't understand the relation between some tables in the database

Hello,

I don't understand the relation between the following tables :

workflowscheme,

workflowschemeentity,

jiraworkflows

I don't see the role of the table workflowschemeentity what it means !! Can you give me an example to understand the relation between them?

jiraworkflows is all the workflows (except the default JIRA workflow) and their XML definitions.

workflowscheme is the workflow scheme names.

workflowschemeentity is the workflow schemes' configuration ie all the workflow-issue type mappings for each workflow scheme.

In my version of JIRA (4.0.2) workflowschemeentity.scheme = workflowscheme.id and workflowschemeentity.workflow = jiraworkflows.workflowname.
