Can't start a sprint with Swedish language selected

Jon Stewart November 27, 2019

Hi,

I am using a demo account on the the atlassian.net cloud instance for the purpose of learning Jira.  I have the Swedish language selected, and when I try to start a sprint, I get an error saying that the date is in the wrong format.  This happens even when I do not enter an end date for the sprint, but accept the default end date.

I believe the problem is that the date picker is giving the "AM" part of the time in English.  Since Swedish is selected, this is rejected as being an invalid format.  It is not possible to edit the end date (Slutdatum) directly in order to correct the error.

I believe this is a bug - can you report it?

For a workaround, I suppose I should change to English.

Thanks,

/Jon

Hello Jon,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Thank you for all the details. I've searched here about this issue and it's related to a bug that was reported last year:

Please, click on "This affects my team" and also watch to receive updates.

The workaround, for now, is the one you mentioned. In order to start the sprint, please, change the language to English.

Regards,
Angélica
