Can't get issue collector to not require jira login

We have intranet based on typo3 and would like to use the issue collector functionality to submit tickets to jira (standalone) without requirement of actual jira login. Unfortunately so far it doesn't seem to work, unless the user has also logged into jira at the time of completing the issue collector form.

I suspect it has to do with the fact that we are using https, is there a workaround for this?

I've just tested issue collector using https and what found out is that if you are using a self signed certificate, you have to add JIRA URL to the browser's allowed sites to make it work without access JIRA.

This seems to be more relate to how the browser deals with the certificate than with JIRA itself.

I hope this has helped.

Cheers
