Can't enable kankan features (backlog) after jira update

I can't enable kankan features (backlog) after a jira update from my company. 

How can I enable the kanban features on the borad of my projects ?

Are you unable to place the "open" & "TO DO”  into Backlog in 

board settings - Columns - ?

I have notting at all... This project used to use backllogs etc...
