Can someone recommend a Jira plugin which cumulates work log for a team within a sprint period ?

Tobias Jeschke December 12, 2017

What we are looking for is this:
We want to generate automatically an overview, how much time a team member has worked on a ticket within a certain sprint. This shall look like the attached screen. Thanky in advance for any help, Tobiasjira_time_tracking.jpg

Hi Tobias,

You can also use WorklogPRO add-on. It will allow you to create teams, share them with others and allow you to view timesheet for the team for various periods, including sprint. You can control whether to report only issues included in the sprint or others which are not part of the sprint. You can also add various charts and custom fields to timesheet screen if you want. If build-in reporting and charting functionalities are not enough for you, you can export worklogs to excel or retrieve them with REST API of the add-on.

On every scrum board you will see the option of "view in tempo" which will open the sprint timesheet or the complete board timesheet and then you can create the report. But you need to have the tempo timsheets plugin installed for this feature.

Currently, we have Tempo Timesheet as Demoversion installed. but i' lacking Agile. Currently, i can see only the working time for my own user using Tempo Timesheet, not the work of all team members, although i granted my user the role "see team overview"
Issues names are also not displayed

Hi Tobias.

You need to grant yourself permission to view other people's worklogs.

By default you only have permission to view your own.

This is done in the Jira project permission schemes. Tempo adds a "view all worklogs" permission in all schemes, so you can grant this permission pr. project.

I just saw that i was lacking the project role "Tempo project manager". Now i am seeing all team memberfs logged work, but without relation to the issues. Excel export provides me lots of detailled information, but not cumulated (yet)

There are different reports for you to view. Are you on cloud or server?

Please check our documentation for the different reports available. You can get a team report with issue breakdown without exporting in both server and cloud.

Tempo Server reports (different timesheet views): https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/spaces/TEMPO/pages/172785759/Timesheets

Tempo Cloud reports: https://support.tempo.io/hc/en-us/articles/235264787-Creating-reports
