Can one write a query to show only issues with comments newer than a specific date/time?

I would like to refine a dashboard by showing only issues where a comment was logged in the past 24 hours. 

Can anyone give me a hint? 

Disclaimer: my JQL expertise is a bit on the tiny side ...

Hi Gianfranco,

with plain Jira, this is not possible. You can't search for a comment's date in plain JQL.

Do you have the scriptrunner for Jira plugin? It has a scripted function that will help you:
