After upgrading to JIRA v5.1.1 from v4.45 I can not reset my password from the link sent when you clcik the 'Can't access your account' link on the login screen.
I receive the email, I click the link in the email a new browser window opens and I get the error -
The connection was reset
There are no errors in the log files.
I have verified my mailserver, firewall, and network access.
This issue was the result of configuration for SSL and the base URL. We hve updated server.xml to include the correct configuration for SSL and all is now working.
