I'm using Jira on demand. I am login as "administrators" I'm the only user but I can not put myself on JIRA System Administrator group so I can not define or edit SMTP mail server. Can you help?

You say you're using OnDemand - you won't get system admin rights in there, and that includes the mail server settings.
