Can not add attachement to jira ticket

Used to be able to add attachments to jira tickets, but now cannot.

"Bad" filenames (i.e with 'ü' or 'ß' ) can also causes this problem

Hi Tom

If you still can see the option to attach, but are not being able to complete the operation, this can be proxy related. Try accessing locally and see if the problem persist.

You (or one of your admins anyway) has probably changed the permission scheme to disallow it. Start by checking what the permission scheme says
