Can each instance of JIRA SD project have it's own collection of knowledge articles?

Jervis Padua June 30, 2016

We are thinking of using JIRA SD and plan to setup multiple JIRA SD projects. Is it possible for each JIRA SD project to only search it's own knowledge base or will all JIRA SD projects use the same?

Yes. Each Service Desk points to a single 'space' in Confluence.

Just to clarify. So what we are planning is.

USA SD

Canada SD

Internal SD

All three should have its own separate confluence space? Searching for an article will be ring-fenced on each space? How do I create multiple confluence space that I can assign to each SD project?

Each Service Desk Project points to a single 'space' in Confluence.

All three Service Desks can point to the same space or they can point to individual spaces. The current interface only allows you to add a single space, which means multiple spaces per service desk doesn't work.

Consider adding your use-case, voting for, and watching this suggestion –  https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSD-170.
