Can be default labels like IssueType Names be overwritten without beeing rechanged by next atlassian release??

Hi all

we translated the Issue Type Task into "Aufgabe" for the German language. Will the changed value be overwritten by the next atlassian release? The same question we ask us for global labels/names like component or projects.

Thank you for some feedback

The issue type names (so as other labels) are stored in the database. Thus after JIRA upgrade your custom names will be saved.

Also default issue types can be recreated after you create new project from template which uses some default issue type.

Hi Omickron, thank you for your answer. I'm not sure, if I did understand you correctly. Is your answer of my question: Yes?
