I would like to know if an add-on for JIRA OnDemand (developed with Atlassian Connect) can extend the database of an OnDemand JIRA instance by adding new tables. I was thinking to something similar with Active Objects, for instance. And if is not possible, what are the alternatives for storing extra-data related to JIRA objects (projects, users, JIRA issues) in the context of JIRA OnDemand?

Thank you!

Danut.

Not really. There are issue entities ( https://developer.atlassian.com/static/connect/docs/modules/jira/entity-property.html ) but in general the idea is that you store it in your db.
