Can an activity stream be filtered by a page label?

Chris Wallingford October 22, 2012

I'm trying to create a social, Shout-Out kind of page to display a feed of praise posts from within Confluence pages and blog posts. The best I can come up with is a Search Results Macro set to look at just the labelText I'm after:

Search Terms = labelText:shoutout

Alternatively, I know I could send people here:

https://domain.atlassian.net/wiki/label/SID/shoutout

But both of these are kind of ugly and I'd like something more social, user friendly and interactive.

Activity Streams are pretty good, allowing for in-line Comments (although not Likes). Still, I can't find a way to filter an Activity Stream on a page label.

Any ideas of how to do that or something else that'll get me what I'm after?
Thanks!

Hi there,

I'm sorry to say that it isn't currently possible to filter the content of activity streams by label or any other means, so to do something like this would require customisations that would be restricted on the OnDemand platform. So, whilst I believe it would be possible to do this with a self-hosted instance and some customisation of the source code, you wouldn't be able to do this on the OnDemand platform.

However, if you have any suggestions for functionality such as this that would improve the usability of Confluence then please open a new feature request in the Confluence project of our development JIRA: https://jira.atlassian.com

All the best,
John
