Can a project support multiple email addresses?

Do i have the ability to setup multiple email accounts for a single JIRA project?  The documentation states that typically there is only one - wanted to make sure there's no issue with supporting a second email address.

POP or IMAP email messages

To set up issue and comment creation from email, you will need to create a mail account for a POP or IMAP mail server that JIRA can access – typically, one mail account for each JIRA project. For example, for the 'ABC' project, you might establish an account abc-issues@example.com

Yes, it works fine for incoming mail.

The reason is that the mail doesn't go directly to a project.  For each email address you want to listen to, you need to set up a mail account AND a "mail handler" to do all the work when mail arrives.  One of the things you have to set up in the "mail handler" is the project to create issues in - and it doesn't matter if you set up lots of mail handlers all pointing at the same project!

A very common setup is:

Thank you Nic! All is setup in JIRA. Getting an error on the username/password but hope it's something on our end. I appreciate your quick response!
