Can a Rolled Over Story become a clone?

When a sprint is closed, any stories not completed are automatically rolled over into the next sprint. If we delete the completed tasks, they are deleted on the story in the archive of the previous sprint. Is there a way for the tasks to not be deleted in the original story/archive. Maybe, is there a way to have the roll over become a clone of the original story?

Hi Gary,

When a sprint is closed and stories not completed are automatically rolled over into the next sprint, the sub-tasks associated to those stories are also rolled over into the next sprint and are not removed from the parent issue. Basically, a story and all its sub-tasks need to be completed in the same sprint, and if one of them is not completed when the sprint is closed, everything is moved to the next one.
