Can Service Desk cloud customers be configured to use OAuth?

We are setting up Service Desk for use by our employees. I have set up the sync with G Suite for our agents. But we would like to be able to use Google login for the rest of the company to log in to the portal, and not have to license 100 people just to open tickets while also restricting logins to our employees. Is that possible?

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Using SSO such as GSuite it’s great to manage all users, but currently, this option is not available for portal only customers, since they need an Atlassian account and also they need to be listed as internal users.

There is a workaround for that, where you can migrate the customers’ account to Atlassian account and remove all groups from their profile (so they won’t count as a license).
