Can Kanban boards be set up in JSM and be used for development activities?

We have been using Exalate to integrate JSM with Jira software because al of the development activities are managed out of Jira Software. 

We have got a new customer onboarding who has no development work in Jira software now, so we are thinking of creating 2 JSD projects ,one to be used for service management functions and the other one for development activities. Please advise whether this will be possible?

I'm Jose, from the Exalate team. 

Your use case looks like a good case to extend the number of connections within Exalate.

From the same license, you can create a new connection pointing to the new Jira, or you can add a new project from the same connection using the scripts rules.

TL;DR: It is possible 🙂
