We have defined request types for all inputs to our change, incident, service request issues. Each of these request types preload different fields but since issue types still show on the type dropdown we have people selecting them instead of the right request type. When people do this someone has to go in and correct the issue and add the appreciate request types. Any way to stop showing issue types in the drop down?

remove them from the type dropdown on the create screen. So in the example below the request type "Get IT help" is tied to the "[System] Service Request" Issue Type and workflow. I don't want people selecting "[System] Service Request" issue type I only want the to select the get IT help request type

The only way to remove the options there are to remove them from the issue type scheme, so they can't be used at all.
