Currently using JIRA v6.4.12 with OJDBC6.jar v11.2.x

We have recently upgraded the database from 11g to 12c.

Is there any performance gain or harm in switching to OJDBC7.jar (v12.1.x)?

Has any one tried this?

I have switched to OJDBC7.jar on my JIRA instance and to date I am not having any issues.  If I do start to have issues, I'll try to come back and report it here.  I did not attempt updating OJDBC6.

Current install as of this comment:

JIRA v6.4.12 (standard install, not a WAR install)

Oracle 12c R1 (NLS_CHARACTERSET=WE8ISO859P1, NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET=AL16UTF16)

OJDBC7.jar v12.1.0.2.0 (downloaded from OTN)
