Can I start an SLA in a parent issue and stop it in a sub-task?

I'm setting up an SLA that starts when an issue gets created but needs to stop when an appointment has been arranged.  The appointment arranged transition is on a subtask.

Is this possible or will i need to redesign the workflow?

Hello, one solution to do this could be :

  • Redeisgn the parent workflow to add a new status (like appointment arranged)
  • Add an automation : Update when a linked issue changes -> Transition the parent when the appointment arranged transition is on a subtask
  • Stop the SLA when parent enter the new status
