Can I run a trial version of Jira while also running a read-only version of my company's Jira?

I'm just learning Jira and will be creating training materials.  It is helpful to see what people in my company are doing with Jira, but I also need to "poke around" in a trial version to see what it will do.  I need to experiment with the trial version, maybe breaking things.  But of course I don't want to break things in my company's production environment.

If you've got a commercial licence for Jira, then you're entitled to a "developer licence".  You can install your own copy of Jira to play with, and give it the dev licence for your rummaging.  Or testing, development, upgrades and even disaster recovery.

Thank you!  I'll talk with my Jira Administrator to see if this is an option.
