Can I link an on demand jira instance with a bitbucket account set up under a separate user?

I have a Jira, Jira Agile, and Confluence on demand instance. Someone in the organization has set up a bitbucket account under completely different users/billing.

Is it possible to link these two? I've seen the documentation to link accounts that are all under the same technical and billing users, but not anything for connecting accounts that have been set up separately.
