Can I delete a system dashboard gadget?

Scott Evans September 26, 2012

We don't use a different field than "resolution" to define the state, so the "Assigned to me" gadget is useless to us. I woudl ike to delete it and replace it with a gadget that has the correct filter.

I know how to go into Admin mode and get to the System Dashboard. I see how I can move the existing gadgets and add a gadget but I cannot figure out how to delete one of the standard gadgets. Can this be done?

BTW, I am running a "download" version, not on-demand.

Hi George,

Yes, it is possible. When editing the system dashboard, there's an almost-insivible button on the top corner of the "Assigned to me" filter. Click on it and then in "Delete". Check the screenshot below:

Thanks, my browser was messed up and the buttons were mashed. After a quick boot to the head, the familiar buttons showed up.
