Can I define a project in JIRA as my default project?

René Steg September 24, 2012

It seems that JIRA is taking the projects rather randomly, if there is more than one defined. Is there a way to define a project as the default project on issue creation?

I also wonder, if there is a way to order the projects in the selection list.

It always selects the previous project you were in. And that works in most cases. There is no option to choose a default project as of now. Maybe you can raise a feature request.
