I am using the Assigned To Me gadget and I would like to filter out the Closed tickets.
Is there a way to customize the query or enter my own query to be used to view the tickets assigned to me?
For administrative purposes, I cannot unassign myself from Closed tickets.
The "assigned to me" gadget is pretty much hard-coded and very simple. But, it does not report on resolved issues, so as long as you're using Resolution properly, it will ignore your "closed" issues.
If that's not good enough, just drop it and use a "filter results" gadget with whatever advanced filter you want!
