Can I auto-populate a single choice select list custom field with values from another project?

I have a customer that wants a dropdown select list that lists all of the tickets from a specific project. The dropdown list would have to autopopulate to reflect new tickets in that project and deleted or closed tickets.

Is this even remotely possible?

Thanks.

Hi,

One possibility would be to have database custom field. Configure the datasource to JIRA DB.

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.keplerrominfo.jira.plugins.databasecf

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/org.deblauwe.jira.plugin.database-values-plugin

I have used the first one. Second looks similar.

Hi,

It's possible with a 3rd party addon, please check the plugins that can create dynamic custom fields:
