Calculate time an issue is in a given status over a period of time

Hi All

I'm looking for a way (free ideally) of calculating the time a given issue type remains in a status. Ideally I'd like to be able to configure this as a column. 

Something like:

Query: 
project=MyProject AND status=Closed AND issueType in (Story, Bug) AND status WAS in ("In Test", "Test Queue")
 
Output:
Issue Number, Time in Status

Does anyone know of a plugin or have any groovy code that could do this?
