CSV import for Epic Link - JIRA 7.2.9

Debraj Neogi June 8, 2017

With New JIRA update the export to xls has been removed.
But when we export to CSV, the Epic Link column for Story shows Issue ID for the Epic Link.

Earlier when we exported the issues from issue navigator using Export to XLS option the EPIC LINK showed the names of the EPIC.

EXPECTED : The Epic Link name should be retained somehow in some column for a story

Hi Debraj,

If you need to import Epic link via CSV import, you can use Issue ID of Epic for importing Epic Link via CSV import.

Or do you need Epic Link name for other purpose?

Hey Orawan,

Not sure I undertand. If I want to mass update the epic link field on a number of tasks im importing are you saying I should add the Issue ID field (of the Epic) in the Epic Link column?
