Are there any good plugins or product integrations that tie into Jira that allows for Customer Support management. Some key areas are the ability for customers to solve their own issues with a knowledgebase, customer entry of tickets and feedback, chat with live customer support rep, SLA's base of customer support metrics, etc.
Looking for any guidance or suggestions you might have.

Service Desk does most of that. For a Knowledge base, add Confluence + Questions, and for chat, add hipchat (although that isn't quite a built-in chat portlet type thing you get on some sites)
Lance, Parature for JIRA works well for your requirements. Test it out as it takes little time to get is setup.
