Blocking of creating Branches and Pull Requests to Bitbucket from Jira's status

Hi everyone,

I want to block from developers to open creating pull requests and branched from specific status in JIRA.

For example,

If the status turn to "Deployed to Production", the developers won't be able to create branches and pull request.

Currently, it's not possible to block developers to create branches and pull requests. Based on your question, we've created a feature request:

We've created for Jira Cloud, but if you are using Jira Server, let us know and we will create for Server too.

This will be helpful feature to keep developers in-sync with jira states, possibly even allow a rule to move jira status.

e.g. if one merges to Dev and build is successful move the Jira state to Staged.
