Best way to have a single list of releases

We have a platform that is updated monthly in a single release.  (one version per month)

In Jira we have multiple projects for different aspects of the platform.  Currently we go into each project and define each release. And then back into each project to update the status of the release as necessary. 

How can we define the releases once, in a "master"? And then have the same release information available in each project?

Happy to consider an add-on that is not over-kill for what we are trying to achieve.

There is no current native functionality for this for users on the Jira Standard plan, unfortunately. For users on the Premium tier, there is the option to use Advanced Roadmaps to have cross-project releases but they will be for planning within Advanced Roadmaps and won't operate in the same way as per the description here:
