Bamboo user unable to login since LDAP password change. Neither the new or old password work.

Do you get any errors in the log files of Bamboo? Again check to ensure the {{HOME/xml-data/configuration/atlassian_user.xml}} file is well formed or has not changed in conformity with the guide https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Integrating+Bamboo+with+LDAP
