Bamboo doesn't show up in JIRA development board

Philip Steinebrunner April 10, 2014

Hi

We have JIRA 6.2 and Bamboo 5.4.1. We like to use the integration feature of Bamboo that shows build information in the Issue development board near the "Create branch" hyperlink. But the information doesn't show up. An application Link ist already created.

There is the JIRA Bamboo Plugin installed on the server - but I thinkt thats from the time before the existence of the development board. The plugin shows the build information!

So how can we activate this feature? This site says it should be available.

Cheers
Philip

Hi,

Did you upgrade your Bamboo from 5.3.x?

If so, you might have been hitten by a known upgrade bug.

Could you please the following:

In Bamboo, go to Administration -> Add-Ons

Switch visible addons from 'user installed' to 'system'

locate Atlassian Bamboo JIRA plugin and expand it.

on the right side of the panel you should see sth like '20 of 20 modules enabled'.

If it says '19 of 20 modules enabled' click on the plus, find the module that is not enabled and click 'enable'

It might take a while for JIRA to pick this change up but that should fix the problem.

Great! That worked for me. I'am pretty sure we upgraded from 5.3.x before.
