Automation of title in Jira Service Desk

I would like to automate little bit subjects of my issues. For example:

User provides few informations in fields:

  • Name - e.g. Sarah
  • Location - e.g. San Francisco
  • Device - e.g. Mobile phone

I want to achive subject like that:

{name} \ {location} \ {device}

Result will be:

Sarah \ San Francisco \ Mobile phone

It is possible to achive?

You can use either Scriprunner plugin or JJUPIN plugin. Both of them let you add custom script in your workflow postprocessing were you can set subject line and much more.

You could also try the Automation Lite for JIRA and Automation for JIRA add-ons. Your use case sound fairly trivial.
