Automation not working, giving error: Trigger module not present: com.atlassian.plugin.automation.jira-automation-plugin:issue-event-trigger

Todd Winton January 30, 2017

Updated to JIRA 7.3 yesterday.  Since the update, I have been getting the error Trigger module not present: com.atlassian.plugin.automation.jira-automation-plugin:issue-event-trigger

in the automation event log.  How can I enable the trigger module?

Hey Todd, I just went through and edited some of the rules I had setup which were failing, I made no changes; simply pressed Edit > Next > Next etc and Save. The rules then worked.

Hey Todd, I have same issue after going to 7.3. Looks like the add-on has not been updated to be compatable with 7.3 as yet...'for JIRA Server 7.0.0 - 7.2.7' as below:

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.plugin.automation.jira-automation-plugin/server/overview

Not sure what can be done except wait.

Gus,

I downloaded the most recent version of the addon and manually installed it.  It's working fine now.
