Automatically close JIRA issue after xDays without activity (OnDemand)?

Olivier Gwynn January 21, 2013

Hi,

We are using JIRA OnDemand and would like to automatically close an issue after a certain time in "Resolved" status. We found this tip but it is using Jelly which doesn't seem to be available with the OnDemand version:

Does anyone have an alternative to automatically close an issue after a few days without activity?

Tahnks!

Olivier

You cannot run Jelly in OnDemand. Please run an external service in your servers whic can pull the data using REST (search api) get the results and perform the transition on those issues automatically.

Automatically? Don't think so. Closest workaround would be to manually bulk transition(bulk edit) the filter result. As a reminder, you could subscribe to the filter which sends you an email with the results.
