Automatic linked bug created from service desk issue

Is there any way that when an issue is created via my Service Desk project that a linked bug can be created automatically on my JIRA Software project?

You can do this via a post-function on the Create transition in your service desk project workflow. To create an issue from post-function you can use:



Thank you for the quick reply.  Unfortunately, it doesn't look like any of these solutions only work on Server.  We are using Cloud as our deployment solution.  Are there any solutions to my question on Cloud?

A comment on this page makes it look like script runner might one day come to cloud.  Adaptivist says it's working on it, and that it's at least several months away.

I, too, work in JIRA Cloud, and would like to automate the creation of linked issues from service desk requests.
