Autoassign users when creating a ticket in JIRA

Hi there

 

I would like to set up auto assign when somebody created a ticket.

 

Example - user A creates BUG ticket, and rather then select a name or leaving blank I would like to configure so name is there (the intended recipient who will correct work) - can you please advise on how to do this?

There's no way to pre-select a user like that, but you can use post-functions to set assignees, and you might what to have a look at "component lead" as well - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Defining+a+Component
