Auto respond to incoming requests

Can JIRA Issue Tracker be configured to send an auto response to a requestor on an in bound email request?

Hi there

Judging by the default JIRA notification scheme, the reporter will receive an email notification after raising a new ticket. But, if you're looking for an advanced service, maybe you should try to use an external plugin like JEMH.
