Hi,
We have a custom field 'Affects Documentation' in couple of Jira projects, typically the issue creator ticks this if the product documents needs to be changed as part of the fix.
At present:
Setting the "Affects Documentation" does not notify the documentation team of a potential impact. The bug can be marked as fixed and closed without verifying if the requested changes are made in documentation.
Looking for a way to do:
When "Affects Documentation" flag is set in any of the projects, it should create a clone of the issue in documentation team project 'ORGDOC' project and assign it to the default owner.
Is it possible to do this ?
Thanks,
Siddesh
You'll need to find or write a listener or post-function to do that. I'd look at the script runner first.
